Duralloy Industrial Supply provides a comprehensive warranty of up to 3 years on eligible welding machines and equipment. Warranty length varies by model, category and item type. This policy explains what is covered, how warranty service works, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Duralloy Industrial Supply is operated by Oratava Group Pty Ltd, an Australian-owned and operated business based in NSW.
1. Warranty Coverage
Duralloy products include a limited warranty for a period set for each model or item.
• Welding Machines: Up to 3 years comprehensive warranty, depending on the model.
• Equipment, Tools & Accessories: Warranty periods vary by item type.
• Consumables & Wear Parts: Not covered unless found defective at purchase.
Your warranty period is based on the specific machine or item purchased and will be listed on the product page, manual or sales documentation.
2. What the Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship, and performance under regular and proper use.
- Coverage may include:
• Internal electrical components
• PCB boards and inverter modules
• Switchgear, controls and internal hardware
• Manufacturing and assembly defects
Duralloy may repair, replace or supply an equivalent model at its discretion.
3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not apply to:
- Consumables such as tips, nozzles, torches, rods and cutting accessories
- Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation or unauthorised repairs
- Damage from dust, moisture, heat exposure or unstable power sources
- Wear and tear, cosmetic issues or improper maintenance
- Overloading the machine beyond its published duty cycle
- Freight damage after delivery (claims must be made with the carrier)
4. Proof of Purchase & Warranty Registration
A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To lodge a warranty claim:
- Submit a support ticket through Duralloy.net.au with your product SKU or model name, a summary of the issue, and supporting photos or video.
- Our service team will assess your claim and outline the next steps.
- Depending on the unit, repairs may be completed by an authorised Duralloy service centre or technician.
- If approved, Duralloy will repair or replace the item according to the warranty terms.
Customers are responsible for delivering or shipping products to the nominated service location unless otherwise stated.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Duralloy products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Warranty benefits offered by Duralloy operate in addition to your statutory rights.
